Provisional CAA stats for July out
Passenger numbers down 13.5% to 48139. Rolling year is 446381 down 9.1%. Percentage wise CVT and MME where the only big airports that did worse than us
Onto the route figures. No load factors as I’m not sure what operated during the Scottish school holidays and what didn’t. Note of caution is that one extra, or one less day of the week compared to last July can skew the percentage figures
Aberdeen – 2750, down 7% (or 247 passengers) Amsterdam – 11276 – up 2% Antalya – 402 – down 46% Bodrum – 1877 – up 124% Bourgas – 1832 – down 40% Dalaman – 4609 – down 17% Faro – 1756 – down by 2 passengers Fuerteventura – 1754 – up 39% Gran Canaria – 1456 – up 5% Heraklion – 2130 – up16% Ibiza – 153 – down 92% Jersey – 355, up 38% (or 98 passengers) Larnaca – 3231 – up 14% Lanzarote – 1769 – up 24% Menorca – 1292 – down 1% (or 19 passengers) Palma – 4794 – down 42% Tenerife – 2159 – down 33%
Dalaman is quite near overtaking Palma as the biggest volume charter route, and should do so next year with the new Holidays4u flight
