Flights from Norwich Airport to the popular holiday destination Malaga have been reduced, the Evening News reports. The Majorca route, operated by travel firm Thomson, used to run three times a week but from next summer will be reduced to just once a week, on a Thursday.
It is a further blow to the airport, which has suffered from having several popular routes axed by flight operators in the past 12 months and this week announced a major reduction in its annual passenger numbers. Spanish airline LTE Airlines, which also operated on the Majorca route, failed over the weekend.
