Air Southwest are to be closed down by Eastern Airways. All routes from Plymouth City and Newquay airports will be axed from September 30th 2011. Meanwhlie Air Southwest's Bristol-Leeds-Aberdeen operation will continue to operate but be transffered and operated under the Eastern Airways banner. Never made any sense really for Eastern in the first place IMO. I guess it was the fact they effectively got paid to take Air Southwest over that made them go for the deal
Great shame for the employees and Southwest England though
