Noticed something interesting the other day in that DSA is only one of four non-base airports Ryanair fly to in the UK.. The others being LGW, NCL and LDY.

TFS doesn't seem to be bookable any longer. Poster on PPRUNE says some fine tuning of timetables and summer 2013 routes underway - hope this doesn't mean they are fine tuning this route out!

They did this last year when it was decided not to operate HUY-ALC, though I dont think it was ever on sale.. Isn't there talk of Ryanair pulling capacity at TFS?

Pug - like you I have a vague feeling that Ryanair had issues with the Canary Islands but, let's face it, they have issues with so many airport authorities and governments its hard to keep up to date as to who's in favour and who's not! Whilst some of their very studied outrage will be about airport costs and subsidy underlying this is the fact that they are very good at keeping abreast of people movement trends in Europe. For example people moving for emigration, signficant work projects, holiday, homeland visits, family visits etc. and they move quickly to supply or remove their flights as things change.

True, it has been suggested that there will be new routes from three Polish airports tomorrow, along with a new base. Eindhoven announced as a base today and a new base in Sweden to be announced supposidly. Someone has also posted on there that what is on sale from BRS currently allows for just 2 based aircraft as opposed to 5 this year..

FR did have issues with the Canary Islands government, pulled lots of routes including DSA-TFS, then put DSA-TFS on sale for this Summer and now removed it from sale

According to Pprune its not being dropped. I wonder if they have been given an offer to match Wizz. If they have then expect some new routes at least!
Edit; same person says it will operate on Mondays.
