After Ryanair recently stopped Shannon flights, Aer Arann will leave LBA and with it close the Cork route down at the end of August. Dont know how much marketing RE did around LBA but it now leaves Dublin as LBA's sole Irish destination

Seems to be quite a retraction of routes between LBA & Ireland - has traffic really collapsed so much?
But they're not alone when it comes to Aer Arann. RE are also leaving INV & NCL.

On Prune re T/C above,on the Newcastle page the same statement has been added, but no new flights, they think it's just an advert trying to get extra customers for the original flights.

I would go along with that. There doesn't seem to be any extra flights with Thomas Cook from Leeds at all. Thomas Cook had similar press releases from other UK Airports as well as for LBA.
