HUY handled 25,551 in March, this is 10.7% up on March 08.... DSA handled 60,251 which is 23.4% down on March last year. HUY looks to be one of the few with growth last month

The full list of airports with an increase in passenger numbers is
Campbletown (11.5%) Humberside (10.7%) Lands End (76.7%) Lerwick Tingwall (14%) Scatsta (20.1%) Wick (0.2%)
Sad figures for the industry as a whole, but March was a very good month for HUY, even more so considering Easter was in March last year. And that is thanks to having Gran Canaria flight this year in March. Great load factors to ACE, LPA and TFS last month (as usual in winter)
Route by route figures
Aberdeen - 3033, up 12% or around 300 extra passengers. I wonder if Easter not being in March was partly responsible, considering the business nature of the route? ABZ-EMA/LBA/NWI all saw increases as well
Amsterdam - 9949 - down 17% - most other AMS services also down, but still a big cause for concern
Innsbruck - 252 - down 42% - most INN charters have seen big percentage reductions, and of course it was Easter in March last year but still, its an awful average of 31.5 passengers per flight. Yield must be good for it to be on sale for next season
Alicante - 1749 - up 19% - average load 174.9 per flight. Very big percentage increase there. Though after this month, there will be no more ALC from HUY
Lanzarote - 1817, up 30% - average 227 passengers per flight Gran Canaria - 1873 - average 234 passengers per flight. Fantastic performance on a 235 seat aircraft Tenerife - 1820, down 1% - average 227 passengers per flight
Akrotiri - 86 (the Monarch MOD flight)
Hopefully the LPA (and LCA and DLM) effect will mean a good month for April. We better enjoy it while we can though, since I expect double digit percentage increases this summer.
