Passenger figures for May 30699, down 31.6% - only CVT, Lydd, Shoreham and Southend did worse in percentage terms. Rolling year is 412603, down 9.9%. I predict this figure will be below 400,00 before long
Aberdeen 2580, down 12% Amsterdam – 10683, down 16% Jersey 563, up 21% - 56.3 passengers per flight on a 78 seat Dash 8 which is a 72% load factor. However the first inbound would have probably been very quiet so the load factor isn’t bad
I’ve not worked out any load factors/average loads for the charters since I’m not sure exactly what started at the start of the month and what started later
Antalya – 681 – up 8% Bourgas – 217 – down 67% Dalaman – 2223 – down 45% Heraklion – 1072, up 1% Larnaca – 2887, up 65% Palma – 4267, up 9 passengers
Verona – 296 - 148 passengers on this special departure flight

Maybe you can tell me why is it that charter flight prices are so much more expensive from HUY than DSA or LBA. Would much prefer to fly from HUY on holiday but with 5 travelling and flights £100 per person dearer I keep driving past kirmington and on to the M180

Two main reasons I would say
1. Lack of capacity from Humberside keeps prices high for what flights there are 2. DSA and LBA have based charter aircraft which significantly reduces costs

Thanks for your reply, as an outsider it seems strange to me that many people are talking about the fall in passenger numbers in general and at Humberside and yet Humberside is still consistently overpricing itself against its competitors. As I said in my previous post would much rather fly from humberside. Presumably all the charters flying from Humberside must be full?

Yes, most of the charters are full, or nearly full
