Announcement today the government intend to sell a number of public sector assets - and that they are encouraging local authorities to do the same. Now while it seems pure speculation, both Transport Briefing and Crains Manchester Business have mentioned MAG is the type of asset central government may like local government to sell
Will have to see if the Manchester local authorities (and North Lincolnshire Council) decide to follow the government's plans, and if so, if they consider their airport stakes something they may wish to dispose off
