Looks like Flybe can't make any domestic route out of ABZ work, whether in their own right or via Loganair. CWL reported in PPRUNE as being discontinued from Feb 2010. Another route the business community said they wanted...then didn't use...

The only thing I expect H is grim times ahead for ABZ.

I suspect Eastern are the source of BE's problems, many of the business pax will be oil related i suspect and they tend to be very loyal to T3...
Its a shame about GSM for ABZ, i have a feeling that LS may make ABZ their next base?

To be honest I can't see Jet 2 making ABZ a base. The problem is that keeping a B737-300 busy all week flying to just mainland Spain, the Balearics and Portugal would be be hard from ABZ. Yet a B757 would be too much capacity. I think the only reason GSM could sustain an ABZ base was the fact their B737's was perfect capacity wise, but also had the range to fly to DLM/PFO/TFS alongside the shorter ALC/AGP/PMI/FAO
