It was mentioned on 'Prune' that Olympic had stopped using Viking Hellas. and were going to use the two above airlines, Strategic have been flying from Man and Birm, this summer. no problems, and Torair have been flying for Newmarket Holidays this summer,to lots of airports, including HUY.today, and again there have been no problems.

IIRC Strategic lost their AOC in one European country and regained it in another. But their Australian operations keep expanding
Torair did have one tech HUY flights earlier this year, but that can happen to anyone I suppose
I think the biggest issue for these airlines is that they are new to the UK charter market, and have yet to prove themselves as reliable operators over a number of seasons
I noticed that Strategic/Torair are down as using the old Fly Hellas timings which makes me think exact details may not have been finalised yet. Will the airlines launch LCA/HER bases respectively or will they do w patterns from the UK? It's encouraging that Olympic have reassigned the flying, and that flight numbers have been allocated (rather than TBA) but I suspect things could still change yet

Think we may have lost Bourgas... LBA timetables suggest a direct flight, surely HUY couldn't support a direct flight?

He of little faith, the flight has not been lost. on sale as normal seperate flight.checked with dummy flight in late June. Why would the airport have an open day selling Balkan Holidays, only a few weeks back,we have had our own flight before.

Because loads from Humberside were so poor this year, I hardly think its unreasonable to suspect that the flight be pulled... Lets hope not though.

RHO and ACE look to be dropped from TCX's offering at DSA. Hopefully we can hold on to DLM and PMI and not lose their token presence.

That will be a big capacity drop from a B767-300ER to a B737-800. Though we should be grateful we still have the flight at all considering Thomas Cook's current circumstances

According to company web site AlbaStar are Spanish based (Palma) with 2x 737-400 (EC-LAV EC-LNC) and one 737-400 freight Italian funded so no problems there!! JetXtra will be flying exclusively from Humberside. Liverpool seems to be their Head office Founded 2011 so this is its first experiment into the UK market. Could we see more destination from them soon??
