Posted on egcn forum that Goldtrail will end in September, as well as a July start that was already posted on here. So 2 months or so operation only, the same as the new Holidays4u operation. LBA faces the same cutbacks, and DSA has been axed

TFS and LPA now seem to be axed (again) for this summer. MyTravel.com shows no departures between April and November while ThomasCook.com doesn't show any HUY departures to the Canaries in August
Can hope they are just making alterations and will reappear but not that hopeful

Antalya now on TCX. Posted on pprune that PMI is with a LGW B757, DLM with a MAN A320 and AYT with a MAN B757. These will be our only B757 flights this summer and means a capacity upgrade for PMI and AYT

A good attempt by Thomas Cook and the airport at a bit of spin, but the truth is that Thomas Cook have severely cutback, and the extra capacity they have added nothing like makes up what they have dropped
TOM will be used a B737-800 on the Tuesday PMI, and a B737-300 on a Thursday according to ANA Aviation

Moving passengers off to another airport is the sort of thing Thomson's used to do with LBA passengers. They cancelled flights last minute packing them off to Manchester.

I assume the dropped med routes are to do with aircraft allocation etc? Afterall havent Futura and LTE gone now? Not sure whats happened with Spanair, Iberworld and AirEuropa?

Yes theres less Spanish charter capacity but the with numerous LoCo flights to Ibiza/Menorca/Faro theres, a weekly charter cant compete - as has hapenned with Alicante and Malaga. Palma keeps going but then its a far more popular destination than say Ibiza
Theres also the exchange rate impact to consider
Spanair, Iberworld and Air Euroipa are all still around, though SAS has just sold most off Spanair and they arent in the best financial shape (though no one is suggesting they will stop flying any time soon)

ThomsonFly no longer LCA, if so Thomson and First Choice will just be offering Palma from HUY this summer
However both the Wednesday and Saturday LCA flights remain on sale so Thomas Cook/Olympic and/or Libra must have picked up the Thomson/First Choice seats

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but Thomas Cook look to be starting Dalaman flights early - good news - with an 0345 hours arrival on the 19th and 26th April.
