It mentions that there will be an increase of 14 weekly rotations in total. Not enough to keep two aircraft busy I wouldn't have thought.
I wouldn't get carried away though. There are a number of airports that may come ahead of HUY if they are to add new routes. DSA springs to mind as a possible route for instance, since Ryanair have dropped it.
EDIT: Would be good to see HUY announced as a new route however, particularly as it would presumably be next week prior to the HAT event a week on Sunday.

An interesting move from Jet 2 (it had seemed like Summer 2013 was near enough finalised and indeed most of Winter 2013/14 is already on sale). I guess the idea, at least initially, is to support small scale further growth at multiple UK bases
However without a doubt this could be HUY's best chance to get Jet 2 - be it 2013 or 2014. No need for a large initial commitment - 2 or 3xWeek to start. Impact on existing LBA ops would be minimal, but can capitalise on the existing brand awareness in the region. Other airports will no doubt be thinking the same

They clearly will, and it provides the opportunity for Jet2 to move further South without the need for investing in a base.
It is a good chance for HUY, but other airports may be on an equal footing and others will be seen as more pressing no doubt, so we will just have to wait and see what happens as an announcement wont be too far away.

Someone on another forum suggests this will be a single aircraft base, and it will be used only for the morning rotations. Sole purpose appears to be the strategic location to act as a standby aircraft.
Sounds more plausible to me to be honest.

Poster on the Alicante airport forum says (with confidence) that there will be 2 Jet2 aircraft based for the summer peak and that there are "22 weekly frequencies" not yet publicly announced that are bound to include new UK destinations. He puts forward the view that this move is more strategic (i.e. introduction of European holiday spot bases) than tactical (technical support during the peak.) He could just be a local optimist!!
Such a move however would fit in with Jet2's holiday/bucket and spade profile.

Just read the forum flyer. It would appear their news comes from anna.aero, not too sure of the authenticity of that website (though they are linked to 'routeshop'), however they have openly suggested that BHX, LPL, SEN and BRS have been hoping to be a base and this will be a 'blow'.
I would suggest they are basing much of this on conjecture at this time, as there has still been no official external Jet2.com announcement.

Poster on Alicante airport forum reports that Jet2 are to increase their ALC base to 3 aircraft next year and operate all year round not just for summer season. So far morning rotations to established UK bases have been announced - space for rotations to new UK destinations is available if they want to use the aircraft that way.
Maybe another chance for HUY to attract. Having done some sterling work marketing the destination this year they will have hard, current information on demand from HUY to talk to Jet2 about.
