Any idea whether there are any plans to reintroduce 3 x daily services again?

Tuesday 14th February is the first day I could find with three departures in the KLM booking engine. Whether that happens or not I'm not sure Keeps getting pushed back, I can’t imagine that this is still a staffing issue at AMS causing if, which is concerning me. If it is a staffing issue, then the winter period will allow for some regrouping ahead of S23. If it’s a slot issue then that’s another matter and one that should be watched closely.

The KLM website still refers to 'Operational issues at Amsterdam resulting in long waiting times at the airport'. With regard to the movements cap, one would hope that KLM hub traffic would take precedence over charter flights.
As Humberside mentions, three flights per day are showing from mid-February, but on recent form, that probably only indicates the point at which they have not yet made cancellations.
For December and January, the pattern remains at 11 rotations per week (two arrivals per day except for Sunday. Tuesday and Friday)
Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on a Sunday and have retained their one rotation.
98 flights are planned for December. KL1485 diverted to NWI on 12th December. KL1493 cancelled on 12th December. KL1549 AMS/LBA diverted in on 18th December KL1550 was cancelled. KL1489 has been cancelled on 25th December, leaving just one early morning departure on Christmas Day. 93 flights projected for December.
48 arrivals are planned for January (there are no nightstoppers over the month-ends, so there are 96 flights).
44 arrivals are planned for February, which is 88 flights KL1485 diverted to LBA on 14th February. KL1486 operated from LBA. KL1545 AMS/LBA diverted in on 17th February. KL1546 was cancelled.
87 flights projected for February.

Looks like some 3 daily rotations are returning from 27th March. Obviously this is subject to change again, but I’ve had some emails from Humberside Airport recently advertising in conjunction with KLM with particular target of holiday makers and an emphasis on KLM ‘view on the future’.
Hopefully by the summer they will be back to a reliable 3xdaily service as per pre-covid.

KLM have now done some culling of the original three flights per day planning, but it does look as though there could be a significant increase in HUY flights when the summer timetable comes into operation.
The March pattern remains at 11 arrivals per week until Sunday 26th (2) 27th (3) 28th (2) 29th (3) 30th (3) Friday 31st (2). This produces a planned monthly total of 55 arrivals.
KL1493 was cancelled on 16th March KL1493 has been cancelled for Sunday 26th March KL1485 has been cancelled for Tuesday 28th March
The projected March arrivals total is 52 (no month-end nightstoppers, so 104 flights). KL1493 was cancelled on 27th March Projected March arrivals are 51 (102 flights)
There is no consistent pattern to the arrivals in April. It looks as though KLM have been struggling to juggle their available Schiphol slots. There are 15 to 17 arrivals each week with three arrivals on 12 days, a maximum of 2 on Saturdays and Sundays and no arrivals at all on Wednesday 26th. Total planned arrivals for April are 66.
The whole of May looks as though it has had its initial culling as there is only 1 arrival on Saturday 27th. There are 16 or 17 arrivals showing each week producing a monthly total of 76.

The April schedule has suffered a further culling of flights and the number of days with three arrivals is now down to 7.
There are two arrivals on 13 days. On other days, the number is as follows:- Saturday 1st 1, 2nd 1, 3rd 3, 6th 3, Saturday 8th 1, 9th 1, 12th 3, Sunday 16th 1, 18th 1,19th 3, 20th 3, Friday 2 1st 1, Sunday 23rd 0, 24th 3, 27th 3, 29th 1, Sunday 30th 1.
Edit An afternoon rotation has now been added for Sunday 23rd.
This produces a total of 57 arrivals which is 114 flights as there are no month-end nightstoppers.

Airinsight.com has an interesting analysis of the proposed movements cap at Schiphol. A group of airlines (which includes KLM) have recently won a court case against the Dutch government. The government wanted to reduce the number of flights this year from 500,000 to 460,000 in order to reduce noise pollution. The court ruled that they had not investigated all other procedures which could achieve this aim. The cap remains at 500,000 for this year, but it is still government policy for it to be reduced to 440,000 next year. They are also sharply cutting the current number of 30,000 night flights. This might be a successful compromise because from a noise nuisance point of view, a night movement is said to be worth 10 daytime movements. KLM intend to reduce noise pollution over time by continual fleet renewal. The current fleet is very quiet by historical standards. If airlines were flying Caravelles, VC10s and BAC 111s into Schiphol, the Dutch government might have something to complain about!

The latest May schedule shows that there has been a further culling of KLM arrivals which are now down to 66, which is at least comfortably higher than the April figure. Because there is a nightstopper on 31st and none on 30th April, the number of May flights will be one down at 131.
There are 2 arrivals on 17 days. On other days the arrivals are as follows:-
Monday 1st 3, Sunday 7th 1, Wednesday 10th 3,12th 1, Sunday 14th 1, 15th 3, 16th 1, Wednesday 17th 3, 18th 3, Monday 22nd 3, 25th 3, Saturday 27th 1, Monday 29th 3, 31st 3.
KL1485 on Monday 29th has been cancelled. KL1485 on Wednesday 31st has been cancelled.
Projected May flights total is 127.

Looks to me like Teesside is back to its normal 3 x daily schedule on a regular basis, which leads me to believe the changes on the AMS-HUY might actually be due to ATC at HUY rather than any demand driven cutbacks. Hope someone starts asking questions, Humberside is all but forgotten about judging by the comments on social media over the ongoing DSA saga.

Without wanting to speak too soon, looks like KLM reinstate full pre-covid schedule at the end of June. Hopefully the return of regular flights will see an improvement in passenger figures who may have been forced to travel from elsewhere during the reduced operating period. Assuming it does happen that is.
3 x daily Sunday to Friday and 2 x Daily on Saturday.
